Kindergarten class at WWCA is an enjoyable learning experience for your child. We combine creative play with a sound educational program designed to build a firm foundation for a lifetime of learning.
Full day Kindergarten meets each day from 8:30- 3:00pm(2:15 dismissal on Wed.) A half day option meets mornings from 8:30-11:45am.
Learning at West Woods Christian Academy kindergarten is fun! An emphasis on the phonetic approach to reading produces wonderful results.
The children memorize a Bible verse for each letter of the alphabet and learn catchy songs to help them remember consonant and vowel sounds. Students in Kindergarten enjoy field trips, Bible devotion time, physical education, music and arts & crafts projects. Parents are invited to sit in on a class or two.
Kindergarten Graduation
The invitation to graduation reads, "I'm not so big; and yet I'm not so small, for I've been going to Kindergarten since way last fall. I've learned so many, many things…I hope you come and see…I'll be a master of Kindergarten when I get my degree."
Kindergarten graduation is complete with caps and gowns, and will be a time that you and your child will cherish for years to come.
